Conditioner – Perfect Surface Preparation for Electroplating and Bluing
The conditioner is a specialized chemical product developed to optimally prepare metal surfaces in electroplating and bluing processes. It thoroughly cleans and activates the metal surfaces, preparing them perfectly for the subsequent coating or bluing process. The conditioner is particularly effective for nickel, stainless steel, chrome, and copper alloys, creating a clean and even surface that improves adhesion for electroplated coatings. Chrome-containing steels benefit especially from this pretreatment, providing an excellent foundation for high-quality, durable coatings.

Application:

Preparation: Thoroughly clean and degrease the workpiece. Remove all scale and oxides.

Conditioning: Immerse the workpiece in the conditioner for 30–300 seconds.

Rinse: Briefly rinse the workpiece with clean water to remove any residues.

Further processing: Proceed with coating quickly, as oxide layers can reform within 10–30 minutes due to contact with oxygen.
For acid-sensitive metals, reduce the exposure time or dilute the conditioner with water.

P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

P501 Do not discard content with household waste and forward for disposal according to regional/national Guidelines.
