You can easily patinate copper, bronze and brass with this patination. You can patinate screws, fittings or hinges. With this patination agent, you can achieve a beautiful antique look by artificially ageing the metal. Copper, bronze and brass surfaces can be coloured up to a dark brown/anthracite.
To improve the ease of use, this non-ferrous metal colourant was developed as a gel. With this patination gel, the application on the workpiece has been significantly simplified and you can patinate larger workpieces better and more easily. Nevertheless, it can also be used for dipping. Good adhesion of the patina has also been achieved.
Now you can create your own patina with this burnishing on copper, brass or bronze!
The colour depends on the dilution and exposure time. You can achieve a lighter antique look by diluting with water. The dilution can be up to 1:5 with water, for painting a maximum dilution of 1:3 should be used. However, the object can also be dipped directly into the undiluted solution.
This burnishing is also suitable for nickel silver.
Silver, aluminium, chrome, nickel and stainless steel are not suitable.
